Hi,
I build game and I am still confusing how to launch it to production.
- I build the game
- I simulate the game. All dummies are directly accesible through API calls.
- I launch the game. Here I do not remember if I created players through API calls in simulation or after launch, but they are here.
- We using the game to yesterday when "You exceeded 4464 calls to staging api". What?
- I made a ticket http://playlyfe.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/428 for limit 4 464 instead 25 000 API calls in Pack plan
So I have questions:
- How can I switch game to production mode?
- How many API calls are REALLY allowed in PACK plan?
- How can I quickly reset all scores in game (fresh start)
- What are "versions of game" good for? I make new version and my team definition is lost.

To launch a game in "Production" mode, just click on "Launch" instead of "Simulate". The data in the simulation (aka staging) mode will not be transferred to production mode.
We bill you from 1st of each month, so if you buy plans on the 20th, we'll only charge you for the remaining days and give the equivalent fraction of API calls, in this case, 1/3rd of the total calls. You'll get the full quota of calls in the next month.
Versions of game are to create separate designs, for doing something like A/B testing. Each version is created from scratch right now.

Hi,
since my question (ticket from 30.6.) new month (July) arrived. And nothing has changed.
I still have 4464 API calls for staging and 4464 for production for SiTD Game on PACK plan. See https://playlyfe.com/sandbox/sitd_game01/settings
More strange is that my second game (older one, for api client development) with same Pack plan have 18750 calls per month.
https://playlyfe.com/sandbox/ruby_client_test/settings.
30.6. I change my plan to COLONY for SiTD Game. I got confirmation email ("The subscription for your game SiTD game has been deferred to the Colony plan. This plan will be applied in the next billing cycle (the 1st of next month").
But still have assigned PACK plan.
I would like to say:
- PACK plan should be enough IF there is advertised 25 000 API calls / month.
- It would be nice if your system send me (game owner/designer) email when reaching 90% API calls limit.

Hmm..that's odd. We will look into it.
Also, yes, you should be getting emails when you reach 50%, 80%, 90% and 100% of your API call limit. Maybe they went into spam..
