Hello,

I'm having difficulty assigning different lanes to specific players. I can't seem to find the option to achieve this. I can find the view to showcase which lanes users have access to, but not to assign them.

Hi @Brian_Gibson, welcome to Playlyfe. Can you tell me whether you are using the Simulator or the API while doing this?

Thank You @khs. I am using the simulator. I Haven't really touched API's yet.

In the Tasks tab in simulator, you create process Instances from the process definitions. If you are the owner (or creator) of a process instance, you can invite other players to your process instance:

Open one of the process instances in the Tasks tab by clicking VIEW, and then go to the upper-left corner, just below the notification bell. The 3-dots signify additional options for the process, where you get an option to invite a player.

Here you can invite a player, and assign one or more lanes to them.

Then, the other player can accept the invite:

Make sure that you have created those lanes beforehand (in the Game Builder). If you have not defined more lanes, then you can do so by going to the Processes view in the Game Builder, and clicking on the Lanes icon, and then selecting the "New Lane" button.

Note: After creating those lanes, you need to Simulate your game again.
